Shadow was my first real pet of my own and I loved her dearly, She was one of 'My Girls' :o)
Unfortunately in August 2008 she became very sick with an infection in her womb and started bleeding
from her rear. She battled hard and with the anti-biotics seemed to be getting better but she took a
turn for the worst Whilst I was on holiday in October 2008 and my friend had to ask my permission to
have her put to sleep so I never got to say good-bye :o( Shadow was such a placid hamster with real
character, I'm so sorry I couldn't be there, I will never forget you beautiful R.I.P xXxXx

God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me."
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working paws to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us;
